Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water

1:46:00 PM

HiyA Lovelies,

Today I will be reviewing one of my most favourite skincare products this month. I have been using this product for only a couple of weeks now and it has become one of my most favourite within no time. Most of the people reading this maybe thinking that this is just rose water how can it be different to all the other rose waters in the market. Or practically thinking why should we shell out more money when we have cheaper versions available in the market. That is exactly what I had thought before trying it and so did a couple of my friends but once we did try it the vast difference was visible in the first use itself. So through this review let me point out some of the differences I had come across while using this product.

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water
Price: Rs. 250/- for 50ml

Claims: KAMA Ayurveda Pure Rosewater is made from the roses of Kannauj, a region in North India, rich in white soil conductive to roses' growth. The Kannauj rose is considered special...it has the same specifications as the Bulgarian rose.
The steam water distillation process used to create this wonderful rosewater ensures a high level of hygiene and unmatched purity.
Rose water is a natural astringent. It balances and restores skin's PH level and helps tighten pores.
Rose water is also a good non-alcoholic toner. Kama rosewater is a good non-alcoholic refresher that helps remove the residue of the previous cleansing procedures such as removing of makeup. It refines the pores and tones the skin making it ready for moisturizing treatment. It can also be used to damp skin before applying Kama Natural Plant Mask (Lavanya) or Kama Miraculous Beauty Fluid (Kumkumadi).
Kama rosewater can also be used as an aftershave. Aftershaves are basically toners, however because most aftershaves are primarily made of alcohol and perfume, they damage the skin by disturbing the recovery of the mantle, which is destroyed by shaving soap and razor blade use.

Benefits :
• Natural astringent
• Balances pH level
• Tightens pores

• Non-alcoholic
Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water

Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water

Results: The Kama Pure Rose water is housed in a brown bottle that has a spray nozzle at the top which is covered with a transparent cap. This makes the application process super easy and hygienic.

The formula is very a lightweight and are easily absorbed by the skin almost instantly without leaving a greasy layer unlike other rose waters I have tried that feel a bit sticky on application. I have combination skin and this rose water rather helps eliminate shine and gives me a well hydrated and not an oily look.

I have used rose water of a couple of brands and they have a rose scent to them along with some other strong chemical scent. The kama ayurveda pure rose water on the other hand has the scent of fresh roses which is pleasant and refreshing.

Upon application the skin feels smooth and revitalized. I have used it prior to makeup application and it teams up just fine. My skin seems happily hydrated without any dry patches. Rose water is considered as a good natural astringent and toner. It helps minimize pores but I have not seen any drastic or visible effects on me so wouldn't like to comment about this property.

The only negative feature I would say is that it's a bit pricey. However, this negative point does not influence my purchase as I cherish the fact that this product is free of alcohol, paraben so a big Thumbs Up! on that.

Disclaimer: Though this product is sent by the brand for consideration my opinion stays honest and is to the best of my knowledge.

Hope you liked this post. Also do let me know in the comments section below if have you tried Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose Water? What are your views on it?

Keep Loving and Living Life.
