April 2016 Favourites

Hello Chicsters,

Though it has been a while since this month has started but lately I have been a bit under the weather so I couldn't do most of my pending posts. Nevertheless, now that I am finally here I will be sharing with you today a list of my April 2016 favourites. The list this month contains some of my skincare and makeup treats along with beauty and lifestyle goodies. So keep reading on to know some more about these treats...

April 2016 Favourites
- Kama Ayurveda Pure Rose water: I have showed my love for the Kama Ayurveda Rose water time and again and honestly I cannot stop raving about how good this product is. This lightweight distilled rose water gets absorbed instantly and helps eliminate the unwanted shine during summer. The product on the whole gives me a sufficiently hydrated and not an oily look. I have combination skin and this rose water is really gentle on my skin and has never broken me out.

- Vôtre Sun protection mist:  I had received the Vôtre sun protection mist in my June 2015 Fab Bag and have been using it on almost a regular basis in the last two months. The mist has a light texture and gets absorbed immediately. Even post application the product doesn't make your skin feel oily or sticky which I have usually faced with sun protection lotions. I love using it over my Kama Ayurveda rose water and it even pairs up just fine with some makeup over it without causing any irritation.

- Lakme Absolute Lip Pout in Pink Fantasy: Pink Fantasy which is a cool toned pink that will compliment most of the skin kissed beauties. I would undoubtedly say this color is a one of the prettiest pinks and would highly recommend you to try it on atleast once. This lip tint is highly pigmented and gives full coverage to my pigmented lips in just one swipe. Even after fading the product leaves a light stain on the lips giving a healthy look. The staying power of this lipstick is nearly 6-7 hours after which it tends to fade a bit. The long lasting nature is what attracted me the most to this product as this is surely one of my office wear makeup essentials.

Acevivi Black Konjac Facial Cleansing Sponge(*Disclaimer): Some days ago I shared with you my Dresslink Haul where I spoke about the much raved about Konjac sponge. Well now that I have tested it for myself I can completely understand as to why this sponge is so popular. The Black konjac is made with bamboo & charcoal for oily and acne prone skin and is naturally PH balanced. The konjac sponge helps exfoliate without being harsh on the skin leaving the skin radiant and rejuvenated. After using the sponge I haven't noticed any sort of irritation or discomfort and it doesn't even dry my skin out completely. As of yet I haven't seen a noticeable difference in my pore size or haven't even tried to get rid of water based makep with it so I cannot testify for these claims.

- Indie Eco Candle in Tropical Summer with Kaffir Lime Priced at Rs. 690/- (*Disclaimer): Scented candles have always been my weakness and this month I have got for you a summer appropriate paraffin free scented candle by Indie Eco Candles. This fragrance has some prominent fruity scents along with some citrus undertones. To be specific the candle has a sweet aroma of tangerine and grapefruit infused with exotic mango and passion fruit. To top it all of it even has a faint refreshing scent of Kaffir lime. Along with this scent they even have two other summer oriented scents namely Lotus and Wild Berries and Deep Blue Sea which I cannot wait to try. This handcrafted eco friendly candle is made up of natural vegetable wax blends that do not emit any toxic soot. Also, the glass packaging is recyclable and the company organizes pickups of glasses to recycle. They also offer discounts to clients who exchange the votives.
