YSL Rouge Volupté Shine #7 Rose Infinite

HiyA Lovelies,

Before we are off to celebrate the last day of this year with our loved ones I simply just had to share this last post about this gorgeous product. The last post of this year definitely had to be one of the memorable ones. Today we will talk about the Yves Saint Laurent Rouge Volupté Shine. One day while browsing through lipsticks I came across, by far one of the most prettiest lipstick I had ever laid my eyes on. When I saw it the only words that came to mind were "MY PRECIOUS" (grinning). Before I knew it my reflexes kicked in and I was checking out shades to suit me.

The YSL Rouge Volupté Shine is available at the moment in 33 shades but sadly most of them are not available in India. It was so pretty that I knew I would want to use it everyday and so I tried to find the shade that would just be an all occasions and an all outfit match shade. After carefully scrutinising each shade I chose the #7 Rose Infinite. This is a sheer deep rose plum shade. The color looks very classy and could be a daywear and a nightwear shade. Since the big NYE is approaching this would be an amazing shade that would go with any look you have on that evening.

Price: Rs. 2300/- for 4.5g

Hemp Care Winter Special (Body Shop and Aveeno)

HiyA Lovelies,

Lately, all I had been seeing around me were hemp creams. In the past some years the fad of hemp creams had increased a lot in the market. I myself did use some but was unaware of the benefits I am getting from from them.

Facts Worth knowing: Hemp seed oil has been used as a cosmetic product for approximately 3,000 years. Many off-the-shelf lotions rely on hemp seed oil as a key ingredient. Hemp seeds feature a high concentration of many skin-friendly vitamins and beneficial fatty acids which encourage:

Keep Blushing This Winter - Perfect day time Blushes

HiyA Lovelies,

This will be a season where Rudolf doesn't want to have a red nose but rather pink cheeks. Christmas is almost round the corner and  the vacations of most of you must have commenced or will soon. The most spoken about reviews during this time would be the Xmas party look but I have decided to spice things up a little bit. For me it is equally important to have that radiant glow during the day time as during night time. Belonging to a sun-kissed skin tone most of us do not have flushed cheeks during winter. To have that healthy glow during the daytime, a subtle blush is essential. So today we will see two of the most gorgeous daytime blushes I have come across.

Natural Collection Blushed Cheeks -Peach Melba (price- £1.99/-)
Maybelline Cheeky glow -Fresh Coral (price- Rs.225/-)

The Showdown Continues: Fab Bag vs My Envy Box product review (November Edition)

HiyA Lovelies,

I know I may be a tad bit late in giving my review on the products but in my defense I made sure that I did use all the products well before giving you an honest review. To recap things till now looking at the first impressions Fab Bag had already scored some brownie points. In this review, we would rather see which subscription has more quality based products in them. So far all I can let you know is all the products were really good. As maximum of the products weren't of the same product range it made it even more difficult to choose.

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly/ Lash Papillon Mascara & L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara

HiyA Lovelies,

Today I will let you in on a secret of creating a divine look with your nightwear mascara. The key to create a look to die for is by using two mascaras. Always use a separate mascara for lengthening and a separate one for volumizing. I have always liked to mix and match mascaras to get the perfect look. To simply perfect look for a night out in the town, would be to give as much of a False Lash Look as I could. Lately during one such experiment I did hit the Eureka!!! button. If people are expecting real big names like YSL, Estee Lauder, Dior, etc. I would like to say I am sorry to disappoint you but this is more of a drugstore or high street brands review. The two of the most beautiful mascaras individually as well as when used together are:

L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly/ Lash Papillon Mascara & L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Mascara
  • L'Oreal Paris Voluminous Butterfly/ Lash Papillon Mascara (Rs. 850 for 7.1ml)
  • L'Oreal Paris Volume Million Lashes Extra Black (Rs. 795 for 9.2ml)

CLINIQUE - 3 step Skin Care : Skin Type 4 (combination to oily)

HiyA Lovelies,

Surprisingly enough excluding the Clinique chubby stick nothing has ever been very exciting for me. I was well aware of the Clinique brand and their products. Sadly the Clinique counters dint quiet excite me at all, thanks to the always serious and unapproaching dermatologists. Finally one day strolling through various counters I decided to try the 3 Step Skin Care System that I had heard so many wonderful things about. Most of all I wanted to try the products to see what the fuss was all about. As usual I was being a skeptic and was unsure if the products would suit me. Even though I knew I had an combination skin I still took their skin test. There are 4 skin types recorded by Clinique: Type 1- dry skin, Type 2- dry to combination skin, Type 3- combination to oily skin, Type 4- oily skin. Through the test they carried out on my skin and as per the categories they had made to determine the skin types, apparently I was skin Type 3- combination to oily. Still being unsure of the products I took the introductory pack and well all I can say is I am glad I did.

This pack retails for Rs. 2100/- in India. I had purchased it in October but as per the SA the prices were supposed to change by the month end so I have no clue about the updated price now.

Fab Bag vs My Envy Box : The Showdown (November edition) Unboxing and 1st Impressions Review

HiyA Lovelies,

Today's review would rather be of a different kind as it will be a FabBag vs MyEnvyBox review. For my friends who aren't aware of the Fab Bag, its a monthly subscription bag that charges a fee of Rs. 600/-per month along with some add on discounts and gifts on purchase of the 3 months 6 months and 12 months subscription. This bag contains 3 deluxe sized product samples and sometimes even full size products. For people who haven't come across MyEnvyBox earlier, it is a monthly subscription box that charges a fee of Rs. 850/-per month. This box contains 5 high end luxury product samples.

Seeing that there are not many comparison blogs online to help the buyers decide which of the two beauty subscriptions to opt for, I decided to be an guardian angel. So if you all are done clapping lets move on shall we? I would like to warn you all that this is going to be one long review. That is why I need to stop beating around the bush and go directly to the point.
