March Fab Bag 2015 - Makeup for Difference

5:58:00 PM

HiyA Lovelies,

Lately, my Fab Bag subscription was over and Fab Bag did the most sweetest thing by sending me a 15% renewal discount coupon. Keeping in mind my long history of love for Fab Bag and their products I did renew my subscription. Turns out that all the make up products in the bag were natural so I am glad that I did make the right choice.
This month's theme #MakeADifference was inspired by international woman's day. Fab Bag has collaborated with Milaap.org for this month and would make a donation each time they receive a missed call or a message on www.fabbag.com/makeupfordifference.

March Fab Bag 2015

For my friends who aren't aware of Fab Bag, its a monthly beauty subscription bag that charges a fee of Rs. 600/- per month along with some add on discounts and gifts on purchase of the 3 months, 6 months and 12 months subscription. This bag contains 3 deluxe sized product samples and sometimes even full size products. In my experience I have always received at least 4 products with one of them being a full sized product.

Lets peep into the bag and fall in love with the products this month:

  1. Inveda BB Cream - Fair (full size: Rs.140/- for 15 ml)
  2. Palladio Herbal Lipstick - Meadow Sweet (full size: Rs. 650/-)
  3. SoulTree Ayurvedic Kajal - 001 Pure Black (full size: Rs. 350/-)
  4. Fashionography Earrings - Studs with bows (full size: Rs. 249/-)
  5. Sebastian Trilliance Conditioner (full size: Rs.1800/- for 150 ml)

Inveda BB cream - Fair: My top favourite BB cream and CC cream are the ones that I did receive in my Fab Bags. Without a doubt the Inveda BB cream  and the Seasoul CC cream have become my most favorite products of all time. Absolutely love the texture and the matte finish on my skin. It blends easily and provides a decent coverage. The color is a perfect match too. Enriched with Magnolia and Almond, a completely natural formula. It has SPF 20 to even protect you this summer as well as does not tend to be greasy after sometime. Would be buying the Full size too. I would highly recommend this product.

Palladio Herbal Lipstick - Meadow sweet (Full Size): Another pleasant makeup product I did receive in this months Fab Bag was the Palladio Herbal Lipstick. There were 6 lovely shades named Raisin Plum, Ice Princess, Flame, Coffee Bean, Rum Raisin, Meadow Sweet and Rosey Plum. I received the shade Meadow sweet, which is a pretty nude shade with light undertones of pink mauve. I was anyways a bit sick of red lipsticks and was super happy to see this refreshing shade in my fab bag. The texture is semi-matte but is quite moisturizing at the same time. Even after a couple of hours your lips wont feel dry. The pigmentation is great, it can cover pigmented lips in just two swipes and lasts for at least 5-6 hours which is pretty decent and the best part is that it is herbal.

Soul Tree Ayurvedic kajal - 001 Pure Black (Full Size): I know it would be hard for you to believe but have never used a kajal before on my waterline as it would react to the product. However, a organic and natural kajal does not sound that bad, so I gave it a try and it glided on smoothly without any reactions. The pigmentation is also really good and stays on for 4-5 hours. The kajal is available in 12 different colors and being a newbie at this I was glad that I received the black one. Interesting fact about it is that it is made of camphor and organic ghee and is totally free from parabens.

Fashionography Earrings - Studs with bows: By now looking at the previous posts you would have guessed that I am very adapted to the prezzies I receive from Fab Bag. They know how to spoil me and I simply love it. Along with the usual products in I also did receive the cutest pair of stud earrings. The tiny bow with little studded stones below it makes it look very adorable. It is one of those pair of earrings that can be matched with any attire, making it wardrobe friendly.

Sebastian Professional Trilliance Conditioner (full size: Rs.1800/- for 150 ml) - Most of the conditioner that claim to give you shiny smooth hair end up giving you oily hair as well. I tend to have a sort of oily scalp and so stay away with any hair products that have the shine word in them. Since it was Sebastian Professional I used the conditioner anyway and boy was I happy I did. The most loved feature by me was that not only my frizzy hair was tamed but also the product didn't weigh my hair down. As well as I did get shiny smooth hair with no signs of an oily scalp at the end of the day. So as usual Sebastian saves the day!!!

The Fab Post this month contained the information on the various causes supported by Milaap.org and Fab Bag as well as a sneak peak of the faces behind it. Excluding this there were a couple of rejuvenating herbal products listed that were on discount and would give you the spa at home experience.

Overall Verdict: This months Fab Bag as it had mostly all makeup products turned out to be my most favorite one so far. Loved the variety of products and was glad that none of the products were repeated. I already have some new favorites and can't wait to buy their full sizes.

Hope you liked this review. Let me which products did you get in your March Fab Bag? Also which were your favorite?

Keep Loving and Living Life.
