Hello Chicsters!

With the ZenFone being one of the best selling smartphones by ASUS, the company recently launched an advanced version of it called ZenFone Max. This smartphone was launched digitally making it one of the most unique launches I have ever come across. The product arrived in a locked box that could be opened with a code visible at the end of the live video launch that was showcased on http://asus.in/liveunplugged/ on the 23rd May 2016. Doesn't it sound exciting so far? Keep reading on to know more about this product...

Price: Zenfone Max with 2GB RAM is available for Rs. 9,999/-
Zenfone Max with 3GB RAM is available for Rs. 12,999/- and can be purchased from                       Amazon, Snapdeal and Flipkart.

Design: This 32GB Android smartphone has a sleek and stylish body with a durable metal edge and an embossed leather back. The Orange and Black combination makes the smartphone look elegant but adds in a little bit of oomph to it at the same time. This smartphone is available in three colors - Black, Orange and Blue. I own the Orange variant which as per me is the peppiest amongst all of them. Excluding the main handset the box comprises of a charger and an OTG cable that turns the phone into a power bank and helps you charge your other gadgets too. How cool is that?

Performance: The swift and smooth functioning of a smartphone depends mainly on its processor. The ZenFone Max is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 Octa-Core processor which clocks at 1.5 GHz and the interesting bit is that you even have an option of selecting a 2GB RAM variant or 3GB RAM during your purchase. The advanced processor gives a super-responsive lag-free experience which means you need not worry about switching between apps and browsing at the same time.

Display: The 5.5 inch HD (1280 x 720) IPS display possess a Bluelight Filter for Eye Care and protects users from straining their eyes due to prolonged usage. Just like the Asus Zenpad 7.0 the Asus ZenFone Max supports the ASUS TruVivid technology that helps in delivering a clearer and crisp picture overall enhancing your viewing experience.

Battery: To be frank the battery of this phone can definitely be considered as its star element. This 5000mAh non-removeable polymer battery when fully charged, provides 914.4 hours of standby time. Supported by Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 and ASUS ZenUI this phone helps meet the needs of techno-addicts like me. The smartphone also has a Power Saver mode that helps you manage and extend the battery life even more. Excluding this an add on bonus would be the five battery modes and two smart switch options that help you make the optimum use of your smartphone. If you enjoy multitasking just like me but low battery keeps holding you back then ZenFone Max is surely the smartphone for you.

Camera: With the Selfie trend taking over the world, a phone with a good quality camera has become one of the top most priorities while purchasing a smartphone. The ZenFone Max sports a high-definition 13MP f/2.0-aperture rear camera and a 5MP front camera that features ASUS PixelMaster 2.0 technology and dual-LED flash for natural-looking, brighter and clearer images. Also, the camera has many inbuilt filters for you to select from of which I am really fond of the Super resolution filter (rear camera) and Beautification mode filter (front camera). The Laser Auto Focus technology that helps focus on an object in mere 0.03 seconds making it much easier for you to capture the perfect moments.

Overall Verdict: On a whole I believe Asus ZenFone Max is an absolute must-have! This baby is uber cool to flaunt around and is budget friendly yet lush on features.

Hope you enjoyed this post. Also do let me know in the comments section below what do you think about the Asus ZenFone Max? Also, would you be investing in one anytime soon?
