Increase your water intake

Check Portion size & Calorie counting

This is something that I personally follow religiously and it works. You may be eating healthy but if your portion size is off then you may not lose weight as expected. In the past, even I have made the mistake of overeating healthy food. As per NHS, your daily calorie intake for the day should be 2000 calories for women & 2500 for men. Counting your calories will help you keep your portion size in control.

Choose the right diet plan for you

There are so many diet plans currently in the market such as General Motors Diet, Keto Diet, Intermittent Fasting, Low Carb High Protein Diet, Blood Group Diet & many more. However, it’s not necessary that each of these diets will work for you. Over the last 5years of testing and trying I realised that The Keto diet & Low Carb High Protein diet worked the best for me. In the same way, you should also experiment and try which diet works for you rather than being stuck in one diet plan that might not give you the optimum results.

Say No to Sugar

I know you may have heard this many times but sugar is the main culprit when it comes to weight gain. This is the one ingredient that has been suggested by doctors time and again to be the root of all problems. There is no way around this, you need to go cold turkey. The one thing that has helped me a lot in the past is switching from Sugar to healthier alternatives like Stevia or Erythritol. A few ways to successfully avoid sugar in your daily meals is by substituting sugary beverages for water, limit fruit intake, reading the ingredients list of a product, being mindful of the snacks you binge on.

  14. Yes al diets are not meant for all people. Like for me as I am a hyperthyroid patient so my diet is boundd to be according to it. Also Sugar intake should be reduced for sure.
