Top 5 Pre-wedding Shoot Locations in India

Hello Chicsters!

October has begun and so has the season of weddings and galore. But one trend that’s caught my eye is the Pre-wedding shoot. This trend has been around for a while now and is only seeing the upward curve. At least I like to look at these pictures more than any wedding picture. It gives an opportunity to the bride and the groom to get to know each other better and also to get comfortable in front of the camera for the D-day. Also, the pre-wedding shoot acts as a quick stress buster from the hustle of finding wedding vendors. BTW, you can find a perfect pre wedding photographer for your shoot on WedMeGood. Not just a photographer, you can find your wedding venue, makeup artist and more on this site and their app.  In fact for the couple, this is an amazing opportunity to bring out their chemistry which they may be shy off to capture on their wedding day in front of all the guests. But according to me, the location matters too. Here I list down some of the best locations for a pre-wedding photoshoot which will make you fall in love:

Top 5 Pre-wedding Shoot Locations in India
1. The Taj Mahal, Agra: The symbol of love has to top the list. Celebrate eternal love and capture it with lush green lawns and the beautiful white structure. To add the perfect dreamy touch of Bollywood films, there is always breeze blowing naturally. So the breeze, the hair blowing, your prince carrying you in his arms…everything is sure to come true. Here’s a tip: Sunrise at Taj is beautiful. Reach early for the perfect shot.

2. Park Hyatt Resort & Spa, Goa: Pristine, surreal and romantic – Goa is the perfect destination to go deep-dive into sheer romance. This is totally a no-brainer. But the Park Hyatt Resort & Spa has maintained its unspoiled scenic charm. Enjoy the luxury and bring out the royal wedding feeler with the pre-wedding shoot. What a captivating teaser it will be for people to come & witness the big D-day!

3. Mahabalipuram Shore Temple: Remember Alia Bhatt and Arjun Kapoor’s wedding sequence from the movie 2 States? They say the sunsets here are the most romantic. If you are Bollywood buff as I am, you can’t miss this place. It stands magnificently on the shores of the bay of Bengal and against the beautiful backdrop, you recreate the passion, the love and make new memories to cherish forever.

4. Rann of Kutch: The minimalistic yet beautiful backdrop of Rann of Kutch is what makes this place stand out the most. Think of this white, sand desert as a blank canvas and you can create the most beautiful portrait ever with your loved one! You need not be dressed in heavy lehengas and sarees or you don't need heavy makeup. The simplicity of this place and the gorgeous sunset prove to be the perfect backdrop for capturing your love. In fact this location will not burn your pockets too!

5. Sahara Aamby Valley: Nothing can be ideal than the comfort of a man-made city. Aamby Valley is a place where you get lush greens, water bodies and luxury, all under one roof. It is the perfect ambience you need for a variety of pictures.

However, the most important tip of them all would be to pick the right pre-wedding shoot photographer, someone who understands your story and is able to showcase your love to the world through his lens.
Hope this article has helped you get a pre-wedding shoot destination of your choice. There are many more destinations to choose from but the ones listed above are surely going to be my first pick when am getting hitched. If you know of more cool destinations, write back in the comments.
